For the past three years or so, Christmases have been a little sad for me. It's not that I don't love the season or the spirit it brings. It's more or less been the fact that I didn't have the money to give gifts to friends and family that I really wanted to. They are always so helpful to us throughout the year and they know that things are tight so I don't think they really expect much. But they deserve something special -- something nice they wouldn't get themselves.
This year is different. This year I will get to wrap gifts for each and every family member I want to. This year I am able to give the littles a bit more for Christmas. This year I had some really nice wins that will allow me to play "Santa" to the amazing people in my life. I can't tell what I've got in my bag, but I can't wait to see their faces!
I'd like to thank Rare Editions for the substantial gift card to Belk. Rare Editions makes the most gorgeous little girl's clothing. I won a sweepstakes awhile back and I must say, I've been more than pleased with my purchases. Not only have I been able to get some great clothes for the kids, I was able to snag some puzzles, toys, and a few things for the grown kids in the fam. Belk has a fabulous selection of clothing and jewelry and even home goods. I may be addicted.
I'd also like to thank Cottonelle and The SITS Girls for the amazing Amazon shopping credit! Anyone who knows anything about shopping online knows that Amazon is a great way to get products quickly and at a super good price. I won this at the #MoreIsBetter Twitter Party with The SITS Girls and Cottonelle (but there are still other prizes and ways to win so make sure you check this out).
Sweepstaking won't make me rich and I don't depend on luck to feed my family. A second income is needed and as Preston gets older the itch to go back to work gets stronger. However, until that time, I will continue to enter sweepstakes and party on Twitter. I'm going to definitely start sharing some here. Sharing is caring after all. Hopefully, you'll find some wins too.
If you'd like to go ahead and get started, here are a couple of my favorite sweeps sites:
